A recently added web resource, Online Resources for Endangered Languages (OREL), has been updated. OREL is a bilingual library of annotated and categorised links, now reaching a total of more than 300 web resources in English and Arabic, covering topics such as language endangerment and revitalisation, technology and techniques, ethical issues, and funding sources.

The new DVD “Endangered Languages of Indigenous Peoples of Siberia” has been prepared and published by the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences and TV-company “ETHNO-ONLINE” with the support of the UNESCO Moscow Office. [press-release]

Two full texts of papers (by Dr. Brigitte Pakendorf and Prof. V.I. Rassadin) for the Round Table have been uploaded, as well as several abstracts. Please check the Round Table section.
Descriptions of the Aleutean and Mansi languages have been made available in the Languages abd Cultures section.
The English site launched
The English version of the site has been launched. Currently only the first page and the programme of the Round Table on Endangered Languages of the Peoples of Siberia are available. More updates will follow in the next few days.
